 Wendel Livestock is located just outside the James River Valley in southeast North Dakota near LaMoure. Our herd consists of 475 Angus cows and all are held to high standards to be efficient, breed back year after year, stay sound and produce high performance calves that excel in pounds and carcass quality. We continually measure many production traits to raise the bar of our females. The cows calve in a 60-day period. All cows are set up for AI and embryo transplant is continually used to expand our top proven females. We develop our bulls to be hardened for service and longevity. Our annual sale that started in 2004 consists of 90 bulls and 60 females and is held the 2nd Monday of May at the ranch. Please give us a call about our operation and visitors are always welcome. |
